Vanessa Gageos, *1989, sound and performance artist, has been literally creating energetic voltage fields for years. She moves through humming magnetic and feedback current fields just as nimbly as she floats through high-frequency areas; her kingdom is poorly shielded cables as well as batteries with residual energy, which she painstakingly collects from waste disposal yards and supermarkets and uses to create her electrifying live performance ceremonies - LiPeZe for short: a composed coronation mass, oscillating between residual energy and eruptive pathos.
