Dieses Video war Teil vom Videoparcours durch die Basler Innenstadt, der vom 1.06. bis 28.07.2013 von 9 bis 22 Uhr stattfand. 16 Basler Geschäfte öffneten für 16 hier lebende Videokünstler*innen ihre Schaufenster. Geboten wurde ein ausgewählter Überblick über die Videokunst Basels und des Baselbiets von den Anfängen Ende der 1970er Jahren bis heute. Dank der Kunst wird einer neuer Blick auf alltäglich Bekanntes geboten, der Alltag wiederrum ist eine ungewohnte Reibungsfläche für die Werke, verstärkt künstlerisches Aussagen oder ermöglicht neue Zugangsweisen. Die 16 Videos zeigen, dass Basel das Potenzial zur Verwandlung und Kreativität hat.
Es gab 16 Standorte: Basler Kantonalbank, Manor, Amavita Apotheke Stadthaus, Hotel Basel, erfolg, GGG Wegweiser, unternehmen mitte, BOSS Store Basel, Confiserie Bachmann, Thalia, KOST SPORT, Louis Vuitton, UBS, wohnbedarf, das Narrenschift und Bahnhof Apotheke Drogerie.
16 Künstler*innen nahmen am Videoparcour teil: Saskia Edens, Nives Widauer, Copa & Sordes (Birgit Krueger und Eric Schmutz), Erich Busslinger, Esther Hunziker, Barbara Naegelin, Claire Guerrier, Hildegard Spielhofer, Anna Winteler, Regula Hurter und Uri Urech, Edith Hänggi, Christoph Oertli, Pipilotti Rist, Muda Mathis/ Sus Zwick und Fränzi Madörin, Hagar Schmidhalter, Mia Bailey.

This video was part of the video parcour through the city centre of Basel, which took place from 1.06. to 28.07.2013 from 9 to 22 o'clock. 16 Basel shops opened their shop windows for 16 video artists who live here. A selected overview of the video art of Basel and the Basel region from its beginnings in the late 1970s to the present day was offered. Thanks to art, a new view is offered of what is familiar in everyday life. Everyday life, in turn, is an unusual source of friction for the works, intensifies artistic statements or enables new approaches. The 16 videos show that Basel has the potential for transformation and creativity.
